In the wake of significant market disruptions, rising costs, and low-margin product segments, the company was forced to file for protective shield proceedings in the spring of 2025. The goal was to achieve a sustainable restructuring and secure the production sites as well as the supply relationships with Feneberg and other national retail chains.
Challenge
The key challenge was to conduct a professional investor selection process under insolvency law while maintaining production.
